Our company is based on the belief that our clients needs are important. We work with you to match your current skill base to a national qualification. If you are currently employed in the hospitality industry you may be able to access this service with a substantial discount or free of charge.
Our assessor's will meet with you and discuss your current situation. From there we will match your current skills with a national qualification and work through the assessment process. We recognise that you are very busy and time poor. It is our aim to make this process straightforward a making use of naturally occuring evidence when ever possible.
INTRODUCING YOUR ASSESSORSue Bartlett is the Convenor of the ITPNZ Tourism and Hospitality Head of Schools Forum. She was been working in the hospitality industry for 30 years with 10 of those teaching in the area of Tourism and Hospitality. While specialising in Food and Beverage Management Sue has worked for four and five star hotels in Wellington, the Bay of Islands and Christchurch, and iconic restaurants in Auckland.
Sue is a Senior Academic Staff Member at a Government Tertiary Institution and has her own Company (FIGJAM Creations Limited(2008)) specialising in the recognition of prior learning and current competency of skills, for people who have learnt "on the job". Her excellence in teaching has been nationally recognised.
Sue has presented research at National Conferences on the successful training models for whole groups of international students, and their successful transition into the workplace, and Tourism and Hospitality as career choices for secondary students.
Sue is passionate about lifelong learning and the hospitality sector.
